Watch Me Grow in Gilbert will host a community event Oct. 19 to raise funds for childhood cancer and honor a child who died from the disease.
Called the Muddy Puddle Mess Fest, the event will include muddy puddles to jump in, a dinosaur dig, water tables and Kona Shaved Ice that will provide snow cones for kids. The event was inspired by Ty Campbell, who was 5 years old when he died of cancer, and the Muddy Puddle Mess Fests — a slew of these events are in the works — held on his behalf act as venues for kids to act like kids.
The event runs from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. on the 19th at Watch Me Grow, located at 4100 S. Lindsay Road Ste. 117 in Gilbert.
