3 suspected in string of robberies

Tempe police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying three suspects in connection with a string of recent convenience store robberies.

According to police, the suspects entered the stores, waited for customers to leave, and then demanded cigarettes and money from the clerks at gunpoint.

Tempe police described the suspects. The first suspect was described as a black man in his early 20s, about 5 feet 6 inches, 170 pounds with a medium build, wearing a black hoodie with a white cartoon character design on the front, black pants and a black skull cap. The second suspect was described as a black man in his early 20s, of medium build, and wearing a black T-shirt, black pants, black beanie with white circle design, and tattoos on his right forearm. The third suspect is a woman in her early 20s, about 4 feet 11 inches tall, 140 pounds, and last seen wearing a pink hoodie and black pants.
