Gilbert police are investigating the shooting deaths of two people.
Police responded to a Gilbert motel Sunday after a maid found the body of a woman identified as 32-year-old Cynthia Townley
Police think Townley died sometime over the weekend.
Gilbert police spokesman Sgt. Mark Marino said the investigation led detectives Monday morning to the Chandler residence of Townley's boyfriend.
There, police found the body of a 36-year-old man who died from a self inflicted gunshot wound.
The investigation is ongoing, but Gilbert police are not searching for any additional suspects.
