Police are searching for two men in their late teens or early 20s accused of entering Amazing Jake's Pizza Factory wearing Halloween-type masks and robbing the business at gunpoint late Sunday.

As the lone employee inside Amazing Jake's, 1830 E. Baseline Road, was closing about 10 p.m., she was confronted by the two men as she walked toward the back of the eatery, according to police.

One of the two men pointed a semiautomatic handgun at her and ordered her to empty out the cash registers before they forced her to open the safe and stole an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

It was not known whether the men entered the building through an unlocked back door or whether they were hiding inside the business.

The robbers are described as Hispanic, in their late teens or early 20s and were wearing black hooded sweatshirts. One was wearing black pants and the other was wearing blue jeans. Both weigh about 150 pounds, police said.

If anyone has information, call Mesa police at (480) 644-2211.
