The love of Goldens will be celebrated 5:30 p.m. Oct. 19 at the Golden Harvest Anniversary. The event will be hosted by AZ Bread Co., 315 W. Elliot Road in Tempe. The 3,000th Golden Retriever rescued by Rescue a Golden of Arizona this summer will shake paws with visitors.

Goldens Harvest will include food, complimentary win and raffles. Proceeds will help pay veterinary bills.

Registration is $25 and can be made at www.golden-retriever.org. Animal lovers age 21 and older are invited to attend. Rescue A Golden of Arizona is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization that rescues and re-homes non-aggressive Golden Retrievers regardless of age or medical condition.
