Students at Chandler's Fulton Elementary School got a peek at General Motor's new electric car, Volt, earlier this month. The car was brought to campus by design engineer, Tony Argote. Fifth- and sixth-graders at Fulton, with the help of retired General Motors volunteers, each year build toy jet cars and gravity cruisers as they apply fundamental math and science principles. This program begins next month. The car was revealed as a kick-off.
