East Valley Institute of Technology culinary students are taking orders for Thanksgiving baked goods.

Each year, the culinary students at the Mesa school take thousands of orders from the public for pies, loaf breads and dinner rolls. This year, they have also added dark chocolate iced brownies and pumpkin pie walnut bars.

Bars are $5 per order; pies (apple, apple cranberry, mincemeat and pumpkin) are $6 each; loaf breads (pumpkin, cranberry orange, banana walnut, spiced apple and dark chocolate) are $4 each; and dinner rolls (white or wheat) are $1.25 per dozen. The money will help provide culinary student scholarships.

To order, call (480) 461-4132, fax to (480) 461-4093 or email bakery@evit.com. Orders must be received by Nov. 17 and will be ready for pickup from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Nov. 23-24 in the EVIT culinary building. Cash or checks are accepted.
