Feed My Starving Children hopes to make a major impact on the world when it brings together 5,000 volunteers for a 24-hour event in Phoenix.
The Minnesota-based nonprofit has a Valley-based packing site in Tempe that will expand next year. The organization hopes to pack one million meals April 12-13 at Phoenix Convention Center.
This event is part of the launch of Feed My Starving Children’s (FMSC) “Change the World from Phoenix” expansion campaign.
During the event, the organization expects to raise $1 million.
Volunteers must register in advance by April 10 at www.fmsc.org/changetheworldphoenix. A suggested minimum donation is $25, which includes an event T-shirt.
