What kind of challenges may a company come up against?

A challenge a company could come up against is the insurance carriers. A lot of employees get some type of access to an Employee Assistance Program or wellness program through an insurance carrier for “free”. It’s pretty standard for them to provide risk assessments and biometric screenings, but you don’t want insurance carriers to have access to that information.

Why not?

Allowing carriers to have access to the Health Risk Assessments and Bio Metric screening reports may play a role in increasing rates upon renewals, it is always best, for privacy reasons and premium stability to have an outside vendor or wellness company supply and report on the assessments/ screenings.

How can I prevent them from having access to that information?
