Qwest Wireless customers have less than a month to switch their service to another provider because of Qwest's plans to discontinue its wireless telephone business on Oct. 31.

Qwest wins 5-year ASU contract

Qwest announced in 2008 that it planned to discontinue its wireless business and began offering Verizon Wireless service to Qwest customers.

Customers who switch to a new provider before Oct. 31 will be able to keep their current phone numbers when they make the transfer, Qwest officials said.

More information about switching to a new provider is available at http://www.qwest.com/VZWmigration/faq.html or by calling 1-888-879-0611.
