Learn how to create positive change in your neighborhood at the annual Neighborhoods Arizona! Conference 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 9 at the Southeast Regional Library, 775 N. Greenfield Road, Gilbert.

The interactive event will allow participants to share information with others who want to improve their community. Also, a panel of HOA attorneys will discuss decisions HOAs need to make regarding medical marijuana.

The conference is free, but prior registration is requested. Breakfast and lunch are included. Register at www.theleadershipcentre.org or call (480) 732-7174.

The event is made possible by the partners of The Leadership Centre, a public-private partnership that includes the municipalities of Apache Junction, Chandler, Mesa, Gilbert, and Queen Creek; Chandler-Gilbert Community College, the University of Arizona Cooperative Extension Maricopa County, and Sunbelt Holdings.
