Donations are sought for the Apache Junction Unified School District transportation department's "Stuff a Bus" Christmas effort. The last day to donate is Saturday.
Food and gifts are needed to give to families who otherwise would have little or nothing. School district buses will be parked at three locations Saturday to accept unwrapped toys, gifts and clothing for children from infants to 18 years old. Gift cards and food items are also needed.
Donate 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Fry's, 185 W. Apache Trail; 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Safeway, 3185 W. Apache Trail; and 8 a.m. to noon at Kmart, 1445 S. Power Road. Donations can also be dropped off at any Apache Junction district school office (the main office is at 1575 W. Southern Ave.), 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. this week.
