One of the “sweetest, loving dogs” the folks at AZ RESCUE had ever encountered, 9-year-old Hattie was in pretty bad shape when saved from the euthanasia list – battling an ear infection, infected mouth, arthritis, and more.

But thanks to AZ RESCUE’s efforts – and this Cocker Spaniel’s strong will – Hattie is happy, healthy, and always ready for some attention.

Described as easy going and mellow — and very receptive to snuggling, being petted, and car trips — Hattie is a great shopping companion, but AZ RESCUE says it’s not uncommon for Hattie pick up an item or two right off the aisle, just like a young kid grabbing a candy bar! Hattie needs a home that can provide her daily walks or a chance to roll on the grass.

For more information on Hattie, or other deserving animals, call AZ RESCUE (Rescue Animal Euthanasia at Shelters through Commitment and Underlying Education) at (480) 598-9410 or visit www.azrescue.org. The cost of adoption is $125 for cats and $150 for dogs, which includes spaying and neutering and some inoculations.
