Fergie, a 7-year-old female Labrador retriever mix, deserves some royal treatment after being found thin and beaten up. She has thankfully recovered and is in good condition at Gilbert’s Arizona Friends for Life animal rescue, where she waits for someone to adopt her and give her a loving home.
Fergie loves to play and be with her people. Volunteers at the shelter say she’s affectionate, easy-going, and a “ready made pal,” according to a news release. “Her ‘cauliflower’ ear just makes her extra charming.” The folks at Friends for Life can’t understand why she hasn’t been adopted yet.
Fergie is spayed, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. If you’d like to meet Fergie, contact Friends for Life at (480) 497-8296 or visit http://www.azfriends.org/ online.
