A cat with a mustache? That’s the distinctive Nico, a 4-year-old black and white feline that AZ RESCUE says is “full of mystery, intrigue, and a whole lot of mischief!” But that mischief can sometimes work to your advantage for Nico is a skilled bug hunter who can catch a fly faster than the stickiest spider web.

Nico practices his hunting skills by chasing furry toy mice, balls and wand toys. He also likes to play with hair bands and Q-tips. When he isn’t leaping about, Nico likes to crawl into your lap and put his paws around your neck.

And birds beware: Nico the hunter also likes to bird-watch.

For more information on Nico, or other deserving animals, call Reducing Animal Euthanasia at Shelters through Commitment and Underlying Education at (480) 598-9410 or visit www.azrescue.org. The cost of adoption is $125 for cats and $150 for dogs, which includes spaying and neutering and some inoculations.
