Sunny is such an appropriate name for this sweet, 3-year-old Yellow Lab mix.
Always in a good mood, Sunny has a wonderfully kind and gentle disposition, and seems to just enjoy life. She’s very laid back and gets along with everyone — canines and humans alike.
One of the most important things to know about keeping Sunny content is she loves — absolutely loves — belly rubs. Just like the fire safety motto “stop, drop and roll,” with Sunny it’s “stop, drop, roll, belly-rub!”
Sunny has a whole routine when it comes to her walks — she runs right to her leash and waits patiently for you to put her collar on; after that, it’s time for her “stop and drop” routine before commencing outside. She also has a funny habit of sitting in chairs like a person — be it at the vet’s office or at a pet-friendly restaurant.
For more information on Sunny, or other deserving animals, call Reducing Animal Euthanasia at Shelters through Commitment and Underlying Education (R.E.S.C.U.E.) at (480) 598-9410 or visit www.azrescue.org. The cost of adoption is $125 for cats and $150 for dogs, which includes spaying and neutering and some inoculations.
