During Candie’s time with R.E.S.C.U.E., she has developed quite the fan base amongst our volunteers.
First of all, the cute markings on her face and body make Candie adorable! Secondly, Candie has an amazing purrsonality to go with her good looks. Candie is incredibly friendly and affectionate; she will follow you around the room in the hopes that she will entice you into petting her. Candie loves to be close to people. When you hold her, she’ll snuggle as close as possible rubbing her face gently against yours and then resting her head in the crook of you neck. Be prepared because Candie will rest comfortably in that position for as long as your arms have the strength to hold her there!
She enjoys playing with wand toys, laser light toys, and, well, just about any toy she can get her paws on. She likes hanging out on high perches in kitty condos or other such places where she can keep an eye on any and all activity. Candie also likes the companionship of other friendly kitties.
For more information on Candie, or other deserving animals, call Reducing Animal Euthanasia at Shelters through Commitment and Underlying Education at (480) 598-9410 or visit www.azrescue.org. The cost of adoption is $125 for cats and $150 for dogs, which includes spaying and neutering and some inoculations.
