Gilbert Sept. 11 memorial

A piece of steel salvaged from the World Trade Center in New York City. The 8-foot-long, 1,500-pound beam was brought to Arizona through the efforts of Gilbert Town Manager Collin DeWitt, and the town plans to incorporate the piece into a solemn memorial to the lives lost in the terror attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.
