Coolidge at No. 4 Seton Catholic...

Coolidge was a big part of the offseason news when it accused Hamilton of recruiting standout running back/defensive back J.T. Gray. Gray didn’t go to Hamilton but he didn’t stay at Coolidge, either, instead moving to Mississippi. Despite the departure of their superstar, the Bears have started the season 6-0 and are the only undefeated team remaining in Division IV. However, Coolidge has yet to face a team at the caliber of defending state champion Seton. The Sentinels do not appear to be as good as a year ago — and this game should further clarify if they will be in the title hunt — but their lone loss came to a talented Snowflake team and Seton enters the contest on a three-game winning streak. The Sentinels are more balanced than in recent years and running back Antonio Campanella (80 carries, 618 yards, 7 TD) may be their most talented offensive player. This should be a telling result no matter how it ends up...

Prediction: Seton Catholic 31, Coolidge 20
