The angel Moroni is lifted into place with cranes, Tuesday, May 15, 2012 on the spire of the Gilbert Temple the southeast corner of Pecos and Greenfield Roads in Gilbert. Moroni is an iconic symbol of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and is used on most of the 134 Mormon temples worldwide. Hundreds of people turned out to see the angle put into place.
