An unforgettable story about going for your dreams, not living in fear and the power of music to connect all of us — that’s the gist of “Once,” the 2012 winner of eight Tony Awards coming to ASU Gammage in Tempe.

Featuring an impressive ensemble of actors who play their own instruments on stage, “Once” is the enchanting tale of a Dublin street musician about to give up on his dream when a young woman suddenly takes an interest in his haunting songs.

DETAILS >> Opens 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, and runs through May 4. ASU Gammage, 1200 S. Forest Ave., Tempe. $20-$125. (480) 965-3434 or ASUgammage.com.
