CitySkate Tree Lighting kicks off Christmas season in downtown PHX

Kickoff the Christmas season with an afternoon at the Valley’s coolest outdoor ice rink, which spans Central Avenue between Washington and Jefferson streets. There will be craft tables, face painting, a visit from Santa, a figure skating performance, live music from Phoenix Theatre and Valley Youth Theatre and a tree lighting to top off the day.

DETAILS >> 3 p.m. with the tree lighting at 6 p.m. Nov. 30; ice rink is open daily through Jan. 13, times vary. CityScape, 1 E. Washington St., Phoenix. $12 for adults and kids, $6 for military and kids 2 and younger, $10 for seniors, students and groups of 10 or more; includes all day ice skating privileges and skate rental.
