Cooler weather brings great opportunities to enjoy the outdoors, like camping close to home at Usery Mountain Regional Park.

Maricopa County Parks and Recreation is offering park visitors who pay the camping fee for one night at a desert mountain county park another night of equal or lesser value for free during that stay. The offer is also good at Cave Creek Regional Park, Estrella Mountain Regional Park, McDowell Mountain Regional Park and White Tank Mountain Regional Park.

The buy-one-get-one promotion applies to camping stays between Oct. 1 and Nov. 11. To receive the free night, contact the Parks call center at (602) 506-2930. Reservations booked online or before July 1 are not eligible. For information, visit Maricopa.gov/parks.
