'Real Pirates' exhibit showcases recovered artifacts

“Real Pirates”, a touring exhibition organized by National Geographic showcases more than 200 artifacts recovered from a pirate ship that sank in 1717. A model of the pirate ship Whydah, pictured, is displayed as part of the 2007 Real Pirates exhibit at the Cincinnati Museum Center in Cincinnati. The Whydah started out as a slave ship and became a pirate ship.
