Mesa’s Main Street will look like Halloween a bit early during downtown’s “Apocalypse Party”-themed Second Friday Night Out.
The free block party, slated for 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, will feature a Zombie Walk for costumed revelers, as well as an End-of-Days Sign Contest for the most original, creative “The End is Near”-themed posters.
The OneOhOne Gallery will give tours of its “haunted” basement and screenings of the five-minute movie “The Basement.” A face painter, Halloween-themed activities and prizes will be on hand for kids. You can also check out live music, art booths and open restaurants and shops.
