Got someone at home interested in martial arts? Children and adults can try free karate, kickboxing, jiu jitsu and combat hapkido classes at the grand opening for Stand & Command Martial Arts, taking place Saturday, Dec. 1, at 1118 N. Recker Road, Mesa.
The event, which features vendors and a prize raffle, is a fundraiser for nearby Sunshine Acres Children’s Home. In fact, make a donation to Sunshine Acres that day, and it’ll pay for your first month of any Stand & Command program.

I know most of the instructors at this dojo-experienced and skilled in several different arts. Definitely worth checking out and helping Sunshine acres in the process.
