Don zombie makeup, moves for worldwide ‘Thriller’ tribute dance

Have you ever wanted to learn the moves to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” dance?
Now you can, because “Thrill the World Phoenix,” a worldwide simultaneous dance of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller,” is back. Free dance lessons start at 9 p.m. every Thursday at Mesa Community College’s Southern and Dobson campus, and 2:30 p.m. every Saturday at Chandler/Gilbert Family YMCA.
Dance lessons go until “Thrill Day” on Oct. 27, when dancers, dressed as zombies, will perform the “Thriller” dance at the Arizona State Fair.
To participate, dancers must register at ThrillTheWorldPhoenix.org. Dancers are also asked to make a donation to Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
