The Handlebar Tempe is now open and it is all we had hoped it would be. Tons of beers, great pretzels and brats, and cool urban reclaimed decor.
The Handlebar Tempe is hosting a 2 week long Oktoberfest celebration complete with daily events and specials. It all kicks off with a “Big Ass Patio Party” on Oct. 6-7, polka bands and traditional German music on the weekends, extended happy hours, costume contests, seasonal and imported beers and more.
The festivities culminate with the famous Tempe Sister Cities Oktoberfest Oct. 12-14. Planned activities include bicycle rallies, photo contests, a moustache ride party, and drink specials for both men and women with moustaches, as Handlebar proclaims itself an equal opportunity alcohol provider.
