If you are looking for a family activity to do during Hanukkah, try spending an afternoon in a winter wonderland.
Kick off the second night of Hanukkah with an afternoon of ice skating, eating latkes and gelt, watching an ice sculpture presentation and taking part in the public lighting of a 6-foot Menorah made of ice.
Put on by Chabad of the East Valley, “Chanukah on Ice” will also include music, raffles, crafts and a dreidal moon bounce.
Take part in the Festival of Lights celebration from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec.9 at Polar Ice Chandler, 7225 W. Harrison St., Chandler. $10 admission includes ice skating, but $7 admission is available without skates.
