Uncharted frontiers maybe be closer than you think. Learn where to find them at Arizona Science Center’s Unbelievable Biomed event on Saturday, May 10. The event begins at 1 p.m. with a family career fair, where kids can learn about possible careers in biomedicine and bioengineering. At 4 p.m. attendees will hear Arizona scientists discuss the latest in biomedical findings, followed by a 5:30 p.m. cash bar reception, a 6:45 p.m. Disease Detective Lab, where you’ll learn how diseases are detected through saliva, and a 7 p.m. panel discussion of Arizona’s future in the bio med industry, featuring scientists, policy makers and educators.

The event is free with general admission. Advance registration is advised, as seating is limited, but walk-ins will be accepted if space allows. More info is available at (602) 716-2000 or AzScience.org.
