Meet Arizona Cardinals players, sample free food and do something good for local kids in one swoop Nov. 15 at San Tan Ford.
The Gilbert auto dealer will donate $10 to Boys & Girls Clubs of the East Valley for each person who attends its “Go Further With Ford Night” (up to $500). The free event features NFL players Larry Fitzgerald, Michael Floyd, Kevin Kolb, Darnell Dockett, Early Doucet, Jay Feely, Lyle Sendlein and Anthony Sherman taking photographs with and signing autographs for fans.
There’s also live music and food samples from Coach & Willie's, Flaming Kabob, Cogburn's, Native New Yorker and Von Hanson's Meats. The event takes place 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Visitors may try out an “American Idol” judging skills challenge for the chance to win an all-expenses-paid trip for two to Hollywood and a VIP experience during taping of the show’s 12th season. That night, a computer with a webcam will broadcast a special message from the show’s host, Ryan Seacrest, to the dealership and test each guest’s judging skills on camera. Entries will be sent back to Ford’s program headquarters, where one winner will be selected to receive an all-expenses-paid trip for two to Hollywood and a unique VIP experience with “American Idol.”
Participants age 18 and older can preregister for the “American Idol” challenge at RandomActsofFusion.com. Register at the dealership on Thursday for a prize drawing to win a 2013 Ford Fusion.
