For a place that specializes in kids, Children’s Museum of Phoenix is reeling in the grown-ups.
The three-story museum, housed in the historic Monroe School Building at the corner of Seventh and Van Buren streets in downtown Phoenix, hosts another Play Date on Friday, Jan. 25. As usual, tickets to the adults-only soiree are expected to sell out fast. They’re available now for $15 per person at ChildrensMuseumofPhoenix.org.
Aside from the museum’s popular Schuff-Perini Climber and Noodle Forest, a host of activities will hearken back to the 1980s – including Atari video game walls and Slinky races. Munchies will be available from food trucks, and there’s a cash bar.
The event is for adults 21 and older. Children will not be admitted.
