Not the type to salivate over boxed chocolates or chalky candy hearts? Sweeten Valentine’s Day with pancakes instead.

Chompie’s restaurants will offer all-you-can-eat buttermilk pancakes for $3.34 on Feb. 14. The deal marks the Arizona restaurant chain’s 34th anniversary.

The dine-in offer is good 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. that day at all Chompie’s locations. East Valley sites are at 1160 E. University Dr., Tempe, and 3481 W. Frye Road, Chandler.

Made from scratch using a family recipe, the pancakes are regularly priced at $5.69 for a two and $6.69 for three.

Originally from Queens, N.Y., Lou and Lovey Borenstein founded Chompie’s with their three children in 1979 because, according to Lovey, they just couldn’t find a good bagel in Phoenix. Today there are four Chompie’s Deli, Restaurant, Bagel Factory, Bakery and Catering locations in Arizona.
