Pancheros Mexican Grill, a fast-casual Mexican restaurant, is opening Jan. 29 in Chandler, and they’ll sell $1 burritos to mark the occasion.
Burritos will be available for a buck a week later, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Feb. 5 at 2051 W. Chandler Blvd., Suite 1.
Pancheros makes fresh-pressed tortillas and builds burritos with something it calls “Bob the Tool,” a special spatula its website says has “torn down the walls that once stood between meat and rice, between beans and salsa.” The menu also includes quesadillas, tacos, burrito bowls and salads.
Pancheros has more than 50 locations across the country and plans to reach 60 restaurants by the end of 2013.

The article then says they'll be $1 the next week. This sounds like the grand opening special is two nights. I drove 20 minutes to try this place out and was told to come back next week on the 5th? Really? I showed her the article and she blew me off basically. So for bad customer service and wasting 40 minutes of my time - I will not come back. The employee should have gotten the manager and he could have made the situation right, instead she just said no- come back. Ya right!
I would have paid the regular price, but the way it was handled and the time I spent to go there made me want to leave and not give them the business.

Whoever wrote this article should really proof read what they write. Poorly written which can be misinterpreted. I have a feeling the restaurant wrote this.

Either this article is misleading or the manager was no validating the offer. The article leads us to believe that the offer was for it's opening tonight and then again next week but when we got there, there were no dollar burritos tonight. So we left.
