If you’re looking for a place to get away this weekend, you don’t have to look far: the Labor Day Grill at the Mill might be just the place.

The one-of-a-kind indoor — and outdoor — Queen Creek Olive Mill restaurant is part of Arizona’s only working olive farm. In addition to the regular menu, they are adding Tuscan grilled chicken breast, wine tasting, cold draft beer, gelato, waffles and iced lattes.

Guests can shop for gifts and hand-crafted extra virgin olive oil made from nine varieties of olives plucked right from the grounds.

Learn about the process and “Olive Oil 101” in one of the mill’s 30-minute educational experiences, where guests learn about different types of olives grown around the world, why Arizona is a great location for an olive farm, and what types of olives are grown at the mill. This experience gives guests the opportunity to ask a personal tour guide questions while tasting samples of stuffed olives, olive oils and more.

Rocket 88’s will also perform live traditional Chicago blues, setting the tone for a relaxing Labor Day.
