If your daily route takes you through Tempe, there’s a fresh, new choice for healthful morning and afternoon pick-me-ups.

The WELL Juice Bar, tucked inside the brand-new Sun Devil Fitness Complex, dishes up good-for-your-body treats. A quick-service window makes ordering quick and easy for visitors outside the fitness center.

The menu features cold-pressed juices, like the Maroon Monsoon with fresh beets, carrots, apple, lemon and celery ($5 for 16 oz.), and protein smoothies such as the Cocomango with organic coconut, mango, pineapple, banana and low fat milk ($6 for 20 oz.).

Hand-made dishes include a Chicken Chop salad with romaine, pulled chicken, egg slices, grape tomatoes and feta with creamy avocado dressing ($6) and the Turkeywich with pulled turkey, greens, tomato jam, onion and tarragon aioli on nine-grain bread ($5.75).

The WELL Juice Bar is owned by ASU alumna Laura Pich. It’s at 400 E. Apache Blvd., Tempe. For information, visit TheWellASU.com.
