Grads: celebrate for free at The Melting Pot

To celebrate the month of graduations, The Melting Pot is offering a free three-course meal of cheese fondue, petite entrees, and chocolate fondue to any graduate of elementary school, junior high, high school or college. The offer is valid May and June with a reservation of four or more guests, so the whole family can join in wishing them the best of luck on their feature endeavors.

World of Beer to open 1st Arizona location in July in Tempe

The World of Beer chain is opening its first Arizona location in July, with a bar on Mill Avenue in downtown Tempe. The bar will serve 50 beers on tap from more than 40 countries, and more than 500 bottled beers. Customers can create their own six-pack combinations to take home, as well.

Four Peaks Brewery medals at global beer contest

Tempe’s Four Peaks Brewery scored two gold medals and a bronze medal at the 2012 World Beer Cup against competition from 799 breweries from 54 countries. Four Peaks was the only Arizona brewery honored.
