The SanTan Village shopping center continues to add restaurants to its tenant roster, announcing 14 new ones on Tuesday.

Ten of those eateries will fill up the center’s food court, putting the Gilbert development a step closer to its Oct. 26 opening.

Westcor, the company developing SanTan, also recently said it gained three full-service restaurants including a brew pub, a steakhouse and a gourmet Mexican eatery.

The company said during a quarterly earnings report that about 90 percent of the mall’s space is spoken for.

“We’re rockin’ and rollin’,” said Westcor spokeswoman Christine Romero.

Gordon Biersch Brewery & Restaurant, a Tennessee-based chain that has a location on downtown Tempe’s Mill Avenue, is scheduled to open the day of SanTan Village’s official grand opening.

The pub’s lunch menu is mainly salads ($6-$12.50), sandwiches ($9-$10.50) and pizzas ($11-$12).

The dinner menu features such diverse entrees as roasted chicken and fettuccine ($15.25), sweet and sour cashew chicken stir-fry ($14.75) and crab-stuffed shrimp and steak medallions ($22.50).

The Keg Steakhouse & Bar, which has a location in Chandler and another coming to Tempe Marketplace, plans to open in the spring.

The Canadian chain is best known for its extensive menu of steaks and prime rib.

Also planning a spring opening is Cantina Laredo, a Texas chain with another location in Scottsdale.

Laredo’s lunch combinations are $8. The dinner menu includes Mexican platters ($9-$16), seafood ($12-$25) and specialities like a Fiesta Grill, which includes shrimp, costillas (ribs), quail, carnitas, beef and chicken ($20.99).

The newest additions are Blue Burrito Grille, Corleone’s, Hot Dog on a Stick, Jugo Juice, Neo Toyko, Opa! Souvlaki, Panda Express, Sbarro, Submarina, Wetzel’s Pretzels, Auntie Anne’s, Dairy Queen, Maui Wowi and Yogurberry.

A few restaurants, such as Waldo’s BBQ and NYPD Pizza, already have opened at SanTan Village, on the southwest corner of Greenfield and Williams Field roads.

Others scheduled to open this fall include Blue Wasabi, Brio Tuscan Grille, Ruby Tuesday and Someburros.
