National Geographic photographer Mattias Klum has been to Malaysia, Nigeria, Brazil, Guyana, Thailand, South Africa, Panama, Mongolia, Peru and Antarctica — just to name a few far-flung destinations.

Wednesday, he’ll transport the rest of us to some of those remote habitats via a multimedia presentation featuring his emotionally stirring photos and videos.

Considered by National Geographic “a powerhouse in the global conservation movement” and one of its most in-demand speakers for his fun delivery style, Klum takes his audience to wild places, revealing the wonder of Earth’s biodiversity and inspiring everyday people to make everyday choices that can make a difference.

Klum’s photographs have made the cover of “National Geographic” magazine eight times and have been shown in museums and galleries around the world. He was designated a 2008 Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum, an honor he shares with the co-founders of Google.
