If you don't know this group of alternative pop-rockers by their name, Neon Trees, you've likely heard their hit song, "Animal," on the radio. The Provo, Utah-based band, who got their break in 2008 when The Killers drummer saw one of their gigs in Vegas, plays this week in the East Valley. But don't expect them to trash a hotel room after; according to Rolling Stone magazine, the all-Mormon group refrains from typical rock-band partying and drinking.

Neon Trees will perform at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Wild Horse Pass Hotel & Casino, 5040 Wild Horse Pass Blvd., Chandler. Paper Tongues open the show. $15-$25. (877) 840-0457 or wingilariver.com.
