Tickets going on sale for big-name concerts

Music fans, get ready to pry open your wallets. You’ll have three chances in the coming days to buy tickets to concerts by a multi-platinum rock band, country music’s most played radio artist of the last decade, and the former frontman of Led Zeppelin.

Here’s the lineup of tickets on sale soon:

• Tim McGraw with special guests Lady Antebellum and Love and Theft: 7 p.m. June 3 at Cricket Wireless Pavilion, 2121 N. 83rd Ave., Phoenix. Tickets go on sale 10 a.m. Friday. $29.25-$69.75 for reserved seats; $88 for a four-pack of lawn seats.

• Green Day with special guests AFI: 7 p.m. Aug. 30 at Cricket Wireless Pavilion. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday. $20-$85; prices are all-inclusive, with no additional fees tacked on.

• Robert Plant: 7:30 p.m. July 20 at Dodge Theatre, 400 W. Washington St., Phoenix. Tickets go on sale 10 a.m. Monday. $39.50-$89.50.

Tickets for concerts by Jack Johnson, John Mayer and the 2010 Vans Warped Tour will also be going on sale in the coming days. Those acts are scheduled to appear later in the summer.

Tickets for all shows may be purchased at the venue box offices, by phone at (800) 745-3000 or online at www.LiveNation.com. Except for the Green Day show, tickets are subject to applicable taxes, service fees and handling charges.
