My favorite mom and pop place to eat is the AZ Bread Co. on the southeast corner of Elliot and Kyrene roads.

The owner always remembers me and my mom when we go in to eat, and it makes the experience more personable.

Plus they have the absolute best brewed iced tea that I have ever had. It hits the spot on a sunny day! They sell it by the gallon so you can take it home with you.
