Break out your baddest leather riding chaps. Arizona Bike Week is here, and pre-rally events kick off Friday at Chester's Harley-Davidson in Mesa.

The Charlie Daniels Band plays at 8 p.m. Friday at the 7-acre motorcycle shop. Arizona country-rock band Mogollon opens the show at 6 p.m.

The party continues all weekend with live music by Metalhead and Roxster, antique bike and freestyle motocross shows, drink specials, bikini bike washes and water balloon fights.

Miss Arizona Bike Week 2009 will be crowned at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Harley dealer's sister store, Chester's Indian Motorcycles of Phoenix, at 944 S. Country Club Drive in Mesa.

The revelry all leads up to Cyclefest, a gigantic bike-enthusiast rally from April 1-5 at WestWorld of Scottsdale. The Gin Blossoms, Eddie Money, Cheap Trick and Blackfoot are slated to perform concerts, and vendors will offer up lots of motorcycle gear.

Tickets to the Charlie Daniels Band and Mogollon concerts at Chester's Harley-Davidson are $25 at the gate. The store's other weekend events are free. Tickets to Cyclefest are $12-$18 per day, or $38 for a five-day pass. Discount tickets and event details are available at www.azbikeweek.com.
