With the addition of the Urban Asian Eatery Chao, the Pecos Ranch Shopping Center (home of BLD and Oregano’s), at the northeast corner of Dobson and Germann Roads, gets a dash of international flavor.

Chao—a new concept from restaurateur David Fliger, whose Latitude Eight Thai Grill closed in December—serves up Asian inspired appetizers and full entrees like pad thai, curry, fried rice, spicy basil prawns, teriyaki chicken and spicy stir fry. Some of the popular menu items from Latitude Eight also made the menu. Happy hour runs from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and features $5 pitchers of beer, $5 glasses of wine and $5 house cocktails.

More info is available at (480) 855-0522 or ChaoChandler.com.
