Arnold, a handsome 4-year-old orange and white tabby, has a better professional résumé than many high school students. His friendly, personable manner makes him a whiz at public relations.

So, Arnold has been working in Friends for Life’s front office for more than a year now, greeting walk-ins and helping out with e-mails. Arnold loves the job and he enjoys chatting up co-workers. But he longs to be a homebody, where he could play and snuggle like a regular cat, and fall asleep with a human all his own. Arnold has tested positive for feline immunodeficiency virus, which cannot be passed on to dogs or humans. He shows no signs of disease — in fact, he’s quite a happy guy. But Arnold must be an indoor cat, and must go to a home where he is the only cat or one with other FIV-positive cats. Arnold is neutered, microchipped and current on all his vaccinations. He is ready to trade the career track for the arms of someone who will love him. If you’re interested in offering Arnold a home, please contact Friends for Life Animal Sanctuary at (480) 497-8296 or www.azfriends.org.
