Playwright Suzan Zeder’s riff on the most famous sleuth in history, Sherlock Holmes, is a rollicking spin-off of Holmes mythology, with the usual suspects Dr. Watson as faithful sidekick and evil Dr. Moriarty as the nemesis. But Zeder, a renowned writer of theatre for young people, imbues the mystery with enough unexpected twists and turns to vex the detective and surprise audiences familiar with the stories.
