Andy and Griffith, 8-year-old orange tabbies, were named by someone with a fondness for Nick at Nite. These nearly identical brothers (Griffith, right, has a freckled nose) can be distinguished by their behavior. Both of these sweet-tempered fellows love to be petted.
But if you sit on the floor, Griffith is the one who will nestle in your lap. Andy will head-butt your hand and flop over like a drunk. Both boys are sworn enemies of feathers, and will hunt them to the ends of the Earth. But Andy attacks the frilly part of the feather, while Griffith attacks the stem. Griffith will often walk off with the feather, while Andy attacks them both.
If you're looking for two guys who love each other - and will adore you - contact Reducing Animal Euthanasia at Shelters through Commitment and Underlying Education at (480) 598-9410 or www.azrescue.org. The cost of adoption is $95 for cats and $125 for dogs, which includes spaying and neutering and some inoculations.
