To schmooze with the guy who delivers the toys or to test the toys he’ll be delivering next month? That is the question this weekend when two East Valley shopping centers host holiday events.

Toy test ride
What: Kids can test out the season’s hottest toys — Hokey Pokey Elmo, Hot Wheels, and Yu-Gi-Oh! action figures — and then rate them for parents. Representatives from KB Toys will be there to answer questions.
When: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday (employees will hand out tickets for the event beginning 1:30 p.m.)
