Throw a giant party celebrating the most intricate and off-the-wall body art, and the Arizona Biltmore is hardly the venue to spring to mind.
But the Hell City Tattoo Festival covers the grounds of the grand old resort this weekend the way ink covers its attendees’ appendages.
The three-day fest features daily live entertainment, including Saturday’s one-man “circus stunt comedy show” by Lucky Diamond Rich, who made the Guinness World Book of Records as the “world’s most tattooed person.”
There are also tattoo competitions and seminars, live art demonstrations, a fine art show, and a kids’ zone — plus plenty of opportunities to get inked or simply watch master tattoo artists at work.
