It’s Christmas 1968 and the audience becomes part of the celebration at the annual Harper’s Hardware holiday party, where the Marvelous Wonderettes are hired to entertain. The foursome performs seasonal favorites like “Jingle Bell Rock” and “Winter Wonderland” in this retro show, where the employees are in for a big surprise when the party’s Santa misses his cue.

>> “Winter Wonderettes: The ’60s Christmas Musical” is on stage at 7:30 p.m. Friday. (Continues various times and days through Dec. 25.) Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre, 5247 E. Brown Road, Mesa. $20-$39; most tickets include dinner. (480) 325-6700 or broadwaypalmwest.com.
